Living Healthy 101
Lets begin by stating the obvious; every body is different. Some of us have fast metabolisms, dietary restrictions, health conditions, etc., etc.
However, one thing remains true. We should all be treating our bodies like the CEO of a fortune 500 company. You never miss a meeting, you deliver quality service and you aim to please. Stop missing those workouts, give it your all, and eat quality food that produce the results you're looking for. Lets begin.
First things first, know that your goals however big or small are possible to achieve. Maybe they'll change over time but if you want something bad enough, you'll put in the work. Having set expectations for daily, weekly and monthly goals can become second nature. Especially when you discuss it with a specialist. I for one love managing my clients goals. Only a weekly basis I check in, have personal consultation, even go on grocery hauls with them. It's this kind of care that not only sets me a part but helps people understand the value of an expert.
Secondly, find your circle. What's that saying? Birds of a feather... Surround yourself with people that want to move, encourage and motivate others. Accountability can also be the reason why you're able to obtain your goal. One study found that 95 percent of those who started a weight-loss program with friends completed the program, compared to a 76 percent completion rate for those who tackled the program alone.

Next, consider all the food you consume as fuel. Ever wondered what happened when you put diesel in a gasoline tank? You'll move for a bit, and then boom, you too will stop running. Here are some of my healthy eating tips:
- Slow Down. The pace at which you eat influences how much you eat, as well as how likely you are to gain weight.
- Choose Whole-Grain Bread — Not Refined. You can easily make your diet a bit healthier by choosing whole grain bread.
- Add Greek Yogurt to Your Diet. Greek yogurt (or Greek-style yogurt) is thicker and creamier than regular yogurt. It has been strained to remove its excess whey, which is the watery part of milk. The end result is a yogurt that is higher in fat and protein than regular yogurt.
- Avoid vegetable oils and spreads. These excessive ingredients are produced by chemical extractions which makes them highly processed.
- Stay away from added sugar. It's very common to find sugar and high-fructose corn syrup in sauces and condiments.
Lastly, research everything. Doing your due diligence to research, investigate and educate yourself on different things you're consuming or even muscles you're working out can make the world of a difference. To be honest, there's a lot of people who don't have time to even look at the back of a peanut bag. Seek out people to help you. We can sit down together and review a nutritional plan that suites your day-to-day. I offer virtual and in-person workouts, to help you maneuver through a schedule.
You deserve the best, treat yourself as so. If you're struggling to start or even to continue, I am here to help. Lets talk!
